Job DescriptionAre you a curious and driven student with a passion for numbers and a fresh perspective? Pilot Company is seeking a Program Intern for our Energy Accounting team in Houston, Texas, for the summer of 2026. This is a unique opportunity to directly support our core business operations by assisting with monthly tie outs, account reconciliations, and report generation.
In this role, you will be an integral part of our team, tackling key responsibilities that directly impact our operations. Your work will reduce the workload across the team, allowing our members to focus on high-priority projects. This will not only increase our overall delivery capacity but will also provide you with valuable experience and a fresh perspective that can spark new ideas for process and system improvements.
What You’ll Do
Improve Operational Efficiency: Assist with monthly account reconciliations and tie outs to ensure accuracy in our financial reporting and improve operational efficiency.
Generate Key Reports: Create and distribute crucial monthly reports to the team and management, ensuring they have the information they need for review.
Contribute to Process Improvement: Bring a fresh perspective to our existing processes, helping us build upon and improve how we work.
Apply Analytical Skills: Learn and utilize your analytical and accounting skills in real-world scenarios to solve business problems and deliver tangible results.
