Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Education, Communication, English, Psychology, Social Sciences, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 3–5 years of experience in teaching, academic leadership, faculty supervision, learning and development (L&D), training, coaching, or talent development.
- Experience leading academic programs, faculty teams, training functions, or learning initiatives in higher education or corporate settings.
- Strong facilitation, coaching, communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
- Experience in curriculum development, instructional design, Outcomes-Based Education (OBE), or learning program development.
- Ability to develop programs that strengthen communication, critical thinking, professionalism, leadership, and workplace readiness.
- Knowledge of academic quality assurance, accreditation standards, CHED regulations, or digital learning platforms is an advantage.
- Experience as a Program Head, Department Chair, Training Manager, Learning and Development Lead, Quality Coach, Team Leader, or a similar leadership role is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Program Leadership and Development
- Lead and continuously improve the institution’s General Education Program in alignment with academic standards and institutional goals
- Develop initiatives that strengthen students’ communication skills, professionalism, critical thinking, confidence, adaptability, and workplace readiness
- Integrate emerging workplace trends, digital competencies, and technologies such as Artificial Intelligence into General Education initiatives where appropriate
- Supervise, mentor, coach, and support General Education faculty members
- Ensure faculty members meet institutional and regulatory requirements
- Develop and facilitate faculty training, coaching, upskilling, and professional development programs
- Promote a culture of excellence, professionalism, collaboration, and continuous learning among faculty members
- Monitor the quality and effectiveness of teaching delivery across General Education subjects
- Ensure alignment of learning outcomes, teaching strategies, and assessments with institutional standards and student development goals
- Strengthen student engagement and classroom effectiveness through best practices in instruction and communication
- Apply proven training, coaching, and talent development practices to strengthen students’ soft skills and professional competencies
- Support programs that develop communication, teamwork, customer service, leadership, problem-solving, and professional behavior skills
- Collaborate with academic and student support units to enhance student success and employability
- Monitor faculty performance, student outcomes, and overall program effectiveness
- Analyze program data and recommend improvements to curriculum, instruction, training, and student development initiatives
- Ensure compliance with institutional policies, accreditation requirements, and regulatory standards while continuously enhancing the quality and relevance of the General Education Program
