The Defense Sector at Leidos currently has an opening for a Program Finance Analyst, Lead to join our Finance team in our Huntsville - AL office. This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience to provide valuable insight and guidance to the Defense Sector Manufacturing Segment supporting multiple high profile DoD development and production programs.
Primary Responsibilities
- Provide support to the program and manufacturing teams in the planning, tracking, analysis, financial planning, and reporting of the program.
- Provide detailed financial analysis to the manufacturing site leadership regarding cost and financial performance of programs, contracts, and products manufactured at the site. Coordinate efforts across multiple sites when needed.
- This position will involve interaction with Ops/Line Management, Finance, Contracts, Procurement, and Senior Technical personnel, as well as other functional or support organizations.
- Preparation of written and verbal reports to customers, the program team, and management regarding program performance.
- Internal financial activities such as invoicing support, accruals, and program financial revenue projections and variance analysis
- Ad-hoc cost and performance analysis
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in financial, business administration, or related field along with 4-8 years of finance experience (including program finance control and operations finance).
- Requires hands-on knowledge of the development, maintenance, and/or tracking of Work Breakdown Structures (WBSs) and related dictionaries
- Experience with work authorization process, funding management, subcontractor management, material control, cost collection, technical performance, integrated analysis /reporting, forecasting, and Estimates at Completion (EACs) analysis.
- Requires the ability to work independently while contributing to the team through reporting, analyzing, and estimating.
- Must be highly proficient in MS Excel and/or other similar desktop tools that provide capabilities to collect and analyze information.
- Strong organization, analytical, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Candidate must be a US Citizen
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with DoD Manufacturing and/or R&D/Manufacturing hybrid programs highly desirable
- Specific experience with CostPoint/Deltek, Fusion is highly desirable.
- Experience with Microsoft Project or other scheduling tools
- Experience with Power BI
- Experience with Earned Value Management concepts and application
- Familiarity with medium to high level volume production/manufacturing concepts, processes, and tools
- Experience with Oracle, OAC, and Cognos highly desirable
- Independent thinker and self-starter is important, with solid organizational skills and ability to multi-task and support varied assignments.

Pay Range:Pay Range $68,900.00 - $124,550.00
