Program Director

We are seeking an experienced Project Director to lead initiatives under the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) Administration and Oversight Support (AOS) in Washington, DC. The Project Director will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of key projects, ensuring compliance with federal guidelines and alignment with program objectives. This role requires a strategic thinker with deep experience in SNAP program administration and oversight, project management expertise, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Program Oversight: Provide strategic leadership for SNAP-related projects, ensuring adherence to the goals of program administration, payment accuracy, program integrity, and oversight.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for Federal, State, and local agencies, fostering collaboration and ensuring alignment with program objectives.
• Project Management: Develop project plans, manage timelines and resources, and deliver quality outputs in compliance with BPA guidelines.
• Communication: Facilitate meetings and presentations with stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of project goals, progress, and outcomes.
• Documentation: Oversee the creation and review of project documentation, ensuring clarity, compliance, and alignment with USDA and federal standards.

• Education: Master’s degree or equivalent in Public Administration, Business, or related field preferred.

Experience:

• 10+ years of experience in SNAP program administration and oversight.
• 7+ years of experience in facilitating meetings, delivering presentations, and writing project documentation.
• Certifications: Project management certification (e.g., PMP, PMBOK) preferred.
