Job Description SummaryThe Program Director, Commercial Digital Technology is the accountable Digital Technology leader for the Commercial domain, responsible for shaping and executing the technology roadmap that enables measurable commercial outcomes across CRM, CPQ, Digital Commerce, Customer Experience, Revenue Operations, Sales Enablement, and related platforms. 
This role partners with Commercial business leaders, Product Directors, Principal Engineers, delivery teams, and external partners to deliver reliable, scalable, secure, and value-driven technology capabilities while balancing business priorities, technical sustainability, operational performance, adoption, and customer outcomes. 

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities 

  • Serve as the accountable Digital Technology leader for the Commercial domain and primary strategic interface with Commercial leadership. 

  • Define and maintain the multi-year Commercial technology strategy, roadmap, priorities, and measurable business outcomes. 

  • Balance customer experience, revenue growth, operational efficiency, platform sustainability, technical debt, and innovation opportunities. 

  • Manage approved domain budgets, forecasts, resource plans, and investment execution in alignment with portfolio priorities. 

  • Use AI to improve planning, prioritization, reporting, risk management, decision quality, and stakeholder communication, while ensuring Commercial platforms and data foundations enable responsible AI, analytics, automation, forecasting, seller enablement, customer engagement, and revenue growth capabilities. 

  • Lead, coach, motivate, and develop a high-performing Commercial Digital Technology team, including talent planning, hiring, performance management, succession planning, and capability development. 

  • Own the Commercial delivery portfolio across CRM, CPQ, Commerce, Customer Experience, and supporting platform investments, including delivery risks, business readiness, adoption, stabilization, and value realization. 

 

Operating Model, Product & Platform Leadership 

  • Select and evolve fit-for-purpose operating models for the Commercial domain, including product-led, Agile, SAFe, hybrid, or other approaches as appropriate. 

  • Establish governance, planning cadences, metrics, decision forums, and accountability mechanisms that improve delivery effectiveness and operational performance. 

  • Partner with Product and Engineering leaders to keep Commercial products and platforms reliable, scalable, secure, modernized, resilient, and aligned to customer experience and revenue outcomes. 

Required Qualifications 

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Computer Science, or equivalent experience. 

  • 12+ years of progressive technology leadership experience, including Salesforce CRM platform experience. 

  • Experience leading business capability domains, technology portfolios, products, platforms, and complex cross-functional organizations. 

  • Strong executive communication, stakeholder management, financial stewardship, and delivery leadership skills. 

  • Demonstrated success driving measurable business outcomes through technology. 

  • Experience leading and developing teams, including people management, hiring, coaching, and performance management. 

 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, CPQ, CRM ecosystems, Digital Commerce, Revenue Operations, Customer Experience platforms, or related commercial technologies. 

  • Experience supporting global sales, commercial operations, or customer-facing organizations. 

  • Experience operating within product-led, Agile, SAFe, hybrid, or fit-for-purpose delivery models. 

  • Experience delivering AI-enabled business capabilities and leading globally distributed teams or partner ecosystems.

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $152,600.00 and $254,400.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.

Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
