The Position:
We're looking for passionate Adult Day Health Program Director who will be responsible for the supervision of day-to-day program operations.
- Be present on the premises and available to participants, team members and families of participants.
- Coordinates the development and implementation of the Center’s programs, as determined by the multidisciplinary team.
- Periodically hold team conferences to evaluate participants and adjust programs as needed.
- Maintain appropriate staffing levels.
- Plan, develop, recommend, implement, and evaluate Adult Day Care Health Program to meet the variety of needs (physical, cognitive, psychosocial), interests, abilities, routines, and preferences of each resident.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing, Social Work, Psychology, Occupational or Physical Therapy, Gerontology, or related field. OR Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of two years experience in a similar role.
- Experience working with Impaired persons.
- Two years (within 5 yrs of application) of related experience in social or recreational program).
- CPR/First Aid Certification
- Current and valid 2 Step TB clearance (can be done in house)
