The State Program Director is responsible for a wide range of functions, including planning, organizing, directing, and supervising professional staff in the implementation of community corrections programs and the delivery of services in accordance with Contracting Agency and Company guidelines. This position relies on experience and judgment to plan, direct, and supervise.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE BUT MAY NOT BE LIMITED TO:

  • Planning and directing the delivery of services in accordance with company and contractual guidelines;
  • Organizing resources and establishing goals and objectives to achieve desired outcomes;
  • Providing leadership and supervision for a management team;
  • Selecting, developing and supervising personnel to deliver service to meet performance expectations;
  • Establishing and maintaining a productive relationship with contracting agency and community representatives;
  • Ensuring Contract compliance in all aspects of service delivery;
  • Generating appropriate inter/intra agency communications at all levels;
  • Understanding, enforcing and monitoring compliance with company policies and procedures;
  • Required to perform all assigned ACA-related duties
  • Required to attend ACA and other assigned or mandatory training classes in accordance with Kintock training policies
  • Accepting other work-related duties assigned by the Site Administrator.

QUALIFICATIONS/BASIC JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Masters Degree in human services, business, or criminal justice preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in human services, business, or criminal justice, with three years of relevant professional experience, managing program/correctional services and supervising program/correctional staff
  • Computer literacy skills (Microsoft Office)
  • Driver's License

  • Residential treatment program experience
  • Experience with special projects and committee work

  • Proven leadership/supervisory skills
