ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Team leader of clinical and administrative functions of program and ACT staff team to provide oversight and direction, ensuring quality care for clients and fidelity to the standards, regulations, and best practices laid out for program.  
  2. Provide direction and training to agency staff to ensure staff is familiar with, understand, and comply with existing agency policy, procedures, and program design requirements. 
  3. Oversight of quality clinical documentation and adherence to Fresno County Documentation standards. 
  4. Document services to meet all clinical program, county, state, and federal requirements, noting significant intervention and progress towards development and attainment of a Treatment Plan. 
  5. Communicate closely, in a systematic fashion, with agencies and significant others involved in the rehabilitation of clients. 
  6. Consult regularly with clinical mental health services staff, for the purpose of reviewing clinical intervention methods and ensuring quality treatment planning. 
  7. Review client files to ensure completion of all documentation requirements and evaluate the quality of case coordination activities for all clinical staff.  
  8. Provide annual review, and ongoing evaluation/documentation of supervisees, including selection of work assignments, accuracy and completeness of work, productivity, disciplinary actions, and all functions related to work performance, as indicated. 
  9. Provide reports of program compliance to the Regional Director regarding compliance with program guidelines including monthly program reports and statistics, as assigned. 
  10. Provide fiscal oversight for the program and monitoring of all revenue sources. 
  11. Cooperate and collaborate with the Regional Director in administering the program operations to ensure that revenues exceed expenses. 
  12. Provide the Regional Director with timely reports on any unusual occurrences that might impact the overall program operation or the health and safety of clients or employees.  
  13. Ensure that all staff completes a minimum 40 hours training annually per Turning Point training requirements. 
  14. Will think and act quickly and efficiently in emergencies.
  15. Will drive on Agency business.
  16. Physical presence at the program is required.
  17. Ensure direct report staff follow the agency’s timecard, PTO (Paid Time Off), and California’s rest and meal period policies. Will monitor staff timesheets to ensure they are completed accurately.
  18. Employees are expected to manage their cell phone use so that the Agency cell phone stipend covers all business usage.  Any calls not covered by the stipend are to be made on a company landline phone.

ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS

  1. Licensed as an L.M.F.T. or L.C.S.W. (or a Masters level clinician who is registered with the licensing body and who is working toward licensure under supervision of a licensed clinician may meet this requirement.) If licensed, eligible to provide BBS Supervision under California State Regulations, preferred.  
  2. Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory and management experience of a behavioral health related program and/or a minimum of four (4) years of work experience in the behavioral health field.  
  3. Knowledge and understanding of Wellness and Recovery ACT model treatment and the implications on serving clients with Severe Mental Illness (SMI) and Dual-Diagnosis individuals. 
  4. Knowledge of best practices regarding the treatment of clients with Severe Mental Illness (SMI) and Dual-Diagnosis individuals. 
  5. Ability to work with individual clients and staff members of diverse cultural backgrounds. 
  6. Current certified training in emergency first aid procedures and CPR, preferred
  7. Intermediate computer skills in Office 365, Teams, Zoom and other communication/meeting platforms.
  8. Possess a valid driver’s license and have access to a dependable means of transportation that is properly insured and operated in accordance with all laws.  Agency insurer authorization is required. 
  9. Ability to pass a pre-employment criminal background check.
  10. Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen, and TB test.

Skills Required
