Northrop Grumman is seeking a Principal Program Cost and Schedule Control Analyst /Senior Principal Program Cost and Schedule Control Analyst (L2/L3) to support the Aerospace Vehicle Equipment (AVE) Segment on Sentinel Program. This position will be located at our Space Systems Sector in Roy, Utah.
This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. #Sentinelbusmgmt
Roles and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Setting up cost control system, monitoring and controlling costs and schedules on contracts requiring validated cost schedule control system
-
Performing analyses and preparing reports to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters.

Preparing budgets and schedules for contract work and performs and/or assisting in financial analyses such as funding profiles, sales outlook, and variance analysis.

Preparing program plans to ensure program requirements and statement of work are captured and scheduled.

Monitoring funding availability by maintaining accurate records of expenditures and preparation of expenditure projections.

Monthly material and subcontract financial forecasting.

Participating in month-end financial reporting close activities.

Performing miscellaneous financial analysis including monthly financial reporting/forecasting and monthly EACs
-
Continually assessing and improving financial reporting processes to enhance efficiencies
This requisition may be filled at either a level 2 or a level 3.
Basic Qualifications for Senior Principal – Level 2:
-
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university with 3 years of professional experience -OR - a Master's degree with 1 years of professional experience. An additional 4 years of experience accepted in lieu of a degree.

Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Secret level security clearance. US citizenship is a prerequisite.
Basic Qualifications for Principal - Level 3:
-
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university with 6 years of related professional experience -OR - a Master's degree with 4 years of related professional experience. An additional 4 years of experience accepted in lieu of a degree.

Experience with SAP, SAP Business Warehouse, Deltek Cobra/MPM, MS Project or Schedule Risk Assessment software tools.

Earned Value Management System (EVMS) experience
-
Strong PC skills and proficient knowledge with Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Excel.

Strong analytical ability.

Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Secret level security clearance. US citizenship is a prerequisite.
Preferred Qualifications for Both Levels:
-
Active SCI (SSBI) or DoD Top Secret security clearance (with a full investigation within the past 6 years).

3 years’ experience in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Program Cost Analysis or Program Scheduling

5+ years of Earned Value Management System (EVMS) experience.

Proficient in Deltek Cobra, SAP, PowerBI.
-
Ability to effectively manage competing priorities and deadlines.
-
Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent problem solving and organizational skills.
Salary Range: $62,200.00 - $93,400.00Salary Range 2: $76,600.00 - $115,000.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
