Scion is paving a path in student living and we’re seeking a Program Coordinator to join us in executing our vision. This position will focus on supporting the Capital program with responsibilities including assisting with managing capital workflows, project documentation and compliance, and will serve as central administrative support for project-related communication and data.
The Program Coordinator is an individual contributor for the Program Management Office and reports to the Program Management Associate. This position is required to work in-office at Scion’s Chicago headquarters.
Responsibilities
Capital Plan & Project Management
- Maintain and organize comprehensive project details and financial information within the Scion Capital Plan.
- Update timelines, status reports, and budget information for all current capital projects to support executive reporting and annual budget planning.
- Input reports and deliverables from third-party vendors into the Capital Plan as needed.
- Work with Project Managers to ensure project milestones are tracked and documented accurately.
Documentation & Compliance
- Ensure all required project documentation (e.g., COIs, fully executed contracts, lien waivers) are properly saved and accessible.
- Manage and organize project close-out documentation and verification of financial completion in collaboration with the Capital team.
- Maintain the organization of the capital approvals, ensuring timely review and proper escalation as needed.
Administrative & Operational Support
- Coordinate and facilitate Capital meetings: schedule sessions, develop agendas, take minutes, and track follow-up items.
- Support year-end and project reconciliations in coordination with the PgMO, Capital, and Accounting teams.
- Serve as a point of contact for interdepartmental communication, ensuring timely exchange of project updates and status requests.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business.
- 2-5 years’ experience in accounting or coordination, operations, or admin roles.
- Project management software experience preferable.
- Understanding of budgeting processes.
- Attention to detail.
- Excellent oral & written communication skills.
The base salary range for this full-time position is base + bonus + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
