We're seeking a passionate, organized, and motivated Program Coordinator to provide leadership and oversight for multiple residential programs throughout Suffolk County. Your Impact

As a Program Coordinator, you will oversee the operations of multiple residential homes and ensure the delivery of high-quality, individual-centered services. You'll mentor and support managers, foster a culture of excellence, and ensure regulatory compliance while helping individuals achieve their goals and greatest level of independence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and support Residential Managers, Assistant Managers, Nurses, Social Workers, Behavioral Specialists, and Recreation Therapists
  • Ensure adequate staffing and scheduling across assigned residences
  • Maintain compliance with OPWDD, state, and federal regulations
  • Monitor program quality, documentation, and service delivery
  • Review and oversee incident management processes
  • Audit consumer records and prepare for regulatory reviews
  • Manage program budgets and financial operations
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with families, care teams, and external providers
  • Recruit, interview, hire, train, and develop staff
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching
  • Participate in a rotating on-call leadership schedule
What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
  • 1-3 years of OPWDD management experience
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Valid New York State Driver's License + 1-year licensed driving experience
