The Role
Coordinate daily Day Habilitation services per NJ DDD and agency policies. Supervise and train Direct Support staff, ensure staffing ratios, implement person-centered plans, monitor participant progress and documentation, manage incidents and emergency preparedness, participate in ISP meetings, support budgeting and quality improvement, and collaborate with families and interdisciplinary teams.

- Supervise and provide guidance to Direct Support Professionals, Client Coordinators, and designated supervisory staff.

- Monitor participant progress, review documentation, and ensure timely completion of progress notes, assessments, and required program records.
- Participate in Individualized Service Plan (ISP) meetings and collaborate with participants, families, support coordinators, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate services.
- Review and ensure the accuracy and completeness of participant documentation and regulatory records.
- Ensure incidents are reported, documented, investigated, and followed up in accordance with agency policy and NJ DDD requirements.
- Oversee emergency preparedness activities, including fire and evacuation drills, and maintain all required documentation.
- Conduct regular staff meetings and communicate program expectations, policy updates, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Monitor program operations to ensure participant health, safety, rights, community inclusion, and quality of services.
- Assist with program budgeting, resource management, and administrative functions as assigned.
- Collaborate with agency leadership to support program development, regulatory compliance,and continuous quality improvement.
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- Travel required.
- Bachelors degree in the Human Services related field, with one (1) year of experience in related work experience. Associate's degree, with (5) years of related work experience or a High School Diploma/GED, with 10 years of work experience with the developmentally disabled community.

- Certification, License, Registration: Driver’s license valid in the state of New Jersey, plus three years driving history and a driving record in good standing.

Skills Required
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Services with 1 year related experience; OR Associate's degree with 5 years related experience; OR High School Diploma/GED with 10 years experience working with developmentally disabled community
