The Rosenberg International Franchise Center—a highly regarded center of excellence in franchise research, teaching, and outreach—is seeking to hire a program coordinator.

Under the direction of the Center's Director, the Program Coordinator will support the daily operations of the Center by gathering and organizing franchise news and industry data, serving as liaison between the Center and internal/external organizations, supporting the Center's various projects, and performing a variety of administrative, coordination and logistical services.

This is an up to 20 hours/week, non-benefited position, with a hybrid work schedule, including a flexible summer schedule. The Program Coordinator must be able to work independently and be a strong advocate for the Center and its programs.

Duties/Responsibilities

Program Support

  • Provide administrative, coordination and logistical support for the Center’s programs and projects.

  • Collect and organize key franchise-related data and news.

  • Assist with developing, coordinating, and implementing marketing and social media communication plans.

  • Assist with maintaining and updating the Center's website content.

Administrative Duties

  • Respond in a timely manner to a variety of inquiries from internal and external parties.

  • Schedule, coordinate, prepare materials, and take minutes of Advisory Board and other Center meetings.

  • Assist with preparing a variety of educational and outreach materials, correspondence, publications, reports, agendas, event programs, etc.)  

  • Monitor travel and expense budgets, manage travel arrangements, and complete expense reports.

Requirements

Minimum Acceptable Education & Experience:

  • Associate's degree and five years of related experience or a Bachelor’s degree and two years of related experience. 

  • Ability and interest in performing a variety of duties from basic/complex administrative support to basic/complex project management.

  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills, adaptable to existing data systems, working knowledge of Microsoft software, and strong attention to detail.

Compensation Pay Range:

$20-$25 per hour
