The Program Consultant plays a key role in delivering successful program outcomes by coordinating activities across internal teams, contractors, clients, and community stakeholders. This position supports program recruitment efforts, monitors energy audit team performance, maintains program documentation and reporting, and helps ensure program goals, budgets, and timelines are achieved.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day operations of the program.
  • Coordinate program activities with internal teams, contractors, clients, and external stakeholders.
  • Monitor program performance, track deliverables, and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Support contractor oversight, energy audit team performance, and quality assurance activitivies.
  • Maintain accurate program data, documentation, and reporting to ensure compliance and program integrity.
  • Assist with project planning, scheduling, budget tracking, and KPI reporting.
  • Identify risks, issues, and process improvement opportunities and recommend corrective actions.
  • Facilitate meetings, track action items, and support successful program execution.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance program effectiveness and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Environmental Studies, Construction Management, Information Systems, Public Policy, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience coordinating projects, programs, or operational workstreams.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting utility, energy efficiency, electrification, sustainability, or community-based programs.
  • Experience working directly with clients, contractors, or external partners.
  • Familiarity with Deltek, CRM platforms, Power BI, or similar business systems.
  • Experience with KPI tracking, performance reporting, and program analytics.
  • Knowledge of utility-sponsored energy efficiency programs.
