Summary of Role:
GlobalFoundries is seeking a dedicated and experienced Program Communication Manager to oversee communications for a multi-year transformational program. The individual will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive communication strategy (internal and external) to facilitate effective communication for change initiatives and programs.
About Program Phoenix:
Program Phoenix is a multi-year initiative that has been established to create a real-time enterprise built on a common data model, global processes, and seamless data flow, enabling operational efficiency and scalability. The Program will involve a green field implementation of S/4 HANA.
Essential Responsibilities:

Provide dedicated support to the Program Phoenix Leadership Team in crafting and delivering impactful communication to external stakeholders.

Develop external communication strategies by working closely with Program Phoenix leadership to develop a comprehensive communication strategy that aligns with the program's goals and objectives.

Work closely with Program Phoenix leaders and stakeholders to craft clear, consistent, and compelling key messages that articulate the vision, purpose, and benefits of the transformation.

Oversee the creation and production of various communication materials, such as presentations, newsletters, emails, videos, intranet content, and FAQs.

Develop tailored communication plans to effectively engage and manage relationships with external stakeholder groups.

Establish feedback mechanisms to gather input, questions, and concerns from external stakeholders. Use feedback to inform communication strategies, address misconceptions, and adjust plans as needed.

Provide guidance and support to program leaders, change managers, and other communicators involved in delivering key messages. Offer coaching, training, and resources to help these individuals effectively communicate with their respective audiences.

Oversees communication with external stakeholders including customers, suppliers, and financial institutions. Use existing channels to deliver messages to external stakeholders and partners closely with teams responsible for managing these stakeholders

Required Qualifications:

Ability to develop and implement strategic communication plans aligned with the organization's goals and objectives, considering the needs and preferences of different external audiences.

Strong writing and editing skills to create engaging and persuasive content for various external communication channels, including websites, social media, newsletters, and press releases.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex information in a clear and compelling manner.

Ability to translate complex change narratives into clear, compelling messages across various channels.

Proficiency in communication tools and technologies, including email platforms, intranet portals, and collaboration software

Proficiency in digital communication tools and platforms, such as email, social media, intranet portals, and video conferencing,

Ability to analyze communication metrics, feedback, and data helps communication specialists evaluate the effectiveness of communication efforts and make data-driven decisions to optimize communication strategies.

Attention to detail to ensure accuracy and consistency in communication materials, as well to adhering to brand guidelines and organizational standards.

Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, marketing, change management or a related field

6+ years of relevant experience in professional environments

Proven experience in communications, change management or a related field

Proficiency in MS Office Suite

Fluency in English Language – written & verbal
Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s in Business Administration, or related field, with focus on communications, public relations, marketing, change management or a related field

Experience in semiconductor industry a plus

Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, project managers, and other stakeholders

High level of emotional intelligence to understand and empathize with the concerns and perspectives of employees impacted by the changes

Expected Salary Range
$82,300.00 - $146,300.00
