Maxar is seeking a Program Business Analyst with varying experience to support the executive program leadership team in a classified environment. This role will act as partly an executive assistant while working with the executive leadership team to build Program management skills. Principal Responsibilities:

  • Conduct administrative duties, such as setting up meetings, drafting invoices, and tracking/reporting program progress.
  • Assist in program staffing, financial planning and implementation as requested.
  • Support preparation of client status reports, program reviews, or program related requests for clients, internal management, and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with program stakeholders to understand their needs and gather programmatic requirement and deliverable details.
  • Act as a liaison between program managers, finance teams, and external stakeholders.
  • Manage access to the program leadership team while prioritizing incoming requests and demands to ensure the program leadership team focuses on high-value tasks.
  • Schedule Program level meetings as needed.


Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen with a TS security clearance and SCI eligible.
  • Must be willing to get a Polygraph.
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in business administration, related field, or STEM
  • Must have knowledge of the intelligence community.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft products (Word, Excel, etc.) and Jira.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; top notch attention to detail.
  • Time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrated Excel and report-writing skills.
  • Desire to learn and grow.


Desired Skills:

  • Experience in government contracting and processes.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with program analysis.
  • Experience developing creative solutions to a variety of challenges in a growth environment.
  • Strong data analytical skills to support the financial and analytical requirements of the program.
  • Basic knowledge of systems engineering and/or Business development in the Intelligence community.
  • Knowledge of Space domain Awareness is a plus.

The successful candidate's starting pay will fall within the salary range provided below and is determined based on job-related factors, including, but not limited to, the experience, qualifications, knowledge, skills, geographic work location, and market conditions. Candidates with the minimum necessary experience, qualifications, knowledge, and skillsets for the position should not expect to receive the upper end of the pay range.
• The base pay for this position within the Washington, DC metropolitan area is: $81,000.00 - $135,000.00 annually.
For all other states, we use geographic cost of labor as an input to develop market-driven ranges for our roles, and as such, each location where we hire may have a different range.
