Park View Adult Day Center, located in Buffalo, is hiring for a Part-Time Program Assistant to join our team! This is the perfect position for those seeking variety and a work life balance. In this role, you will help create and implement various activity programs such as art projects, exercise groups, trivia games, small group discussions and all kinds of musical programs. You will also go on group outings which may include shopping excursions, attend local events and more! Other duties include assisting members with personal needs, pass medications, and help with the daily upkeep of the center. Our ideal candidate is passionate about working with mature adults, thrives in a positive work environment, and has good critical thinking skills.
Part-Time hours are 7:30 am to 3:30 pm working three days per week with opportunity to pick up additional hours.

Adult Day Center Assistant responsibilities:
- Assist with daily recreational and leisure activities.
- Assist with ADLs (Activities of Daily Living).
- Take vital signs.
- Daily charting.
- Assist in creating and implementing daily programs/activities.
- Transport participants in mornings, afternoons and activity outings.
- Daily upkeep of Adult Day Center.
- Perform additional tasks as needed.
Adult Day Center Assistant skills and requirements:
- Prior caregiving experience preferred, but not required.
- Activity planning or related skills.
- Must be CPR and First Aide Certified or willing to be trained.
- Must possess a valid MN Driver’s License.
- A desire to work with elderly adults.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
