Job Description

The purpose of this position is to maintain responsibility for agency administration, oversight, and fiscal operation of services in the community.  The Program Administrator will provide leadership and management over services to ensure that our Mission and Values are carried out on a consistent basis. The Program Administrator participates as the team leader and coordinates the day-to-day operations of the homes or facilities assigned. Supervises the Direct Support Professional staff, Lead Staff and/or Skills Trainers and oversees the completion of each individual's plan of care and treatment. Service provision focuses on maintaining or enhancing the person we support’s self-esteem, promoting power, choice and autonomy, and teaching functional skills that are alternatives to maladaptive behavior.

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Effective communication and interpersonal skills are needed. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

High School Diploma or GED, college degree in the areas of rehabilitation, psychology, special education, social work, or a related field (preferred), or a minimum of 1 year of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities. One year demonstrated ability to effectively supervise staff in maintaining quality services.

Skills Required
