Job Description
The following is a description of the tasks and duties performed by the Project Accountant:
- Monitors and analyzes accounting allocations and spending data to determine financial resources required for budget development.
- Tracks expenses, inventories, and budget balances.
- Measures actual performance against budget.
- Prepares forecasting reports and trend analyses.
- Utilizes financial modeling and data analytics tools.
- Develops recommendations for budget allocations in accordance with budgetary policies and limits.
Typically, a Bachelor Degree in Accounting (or equivalent) and 4+ years of related experience.
