Responsibilities Include (but not limited to)
- Reviewing customer specifications for detailed requirements to set up new processes or establish gaps between current practices and specification requirements.
- Review internal requirements along with external requirements to build shop level work instructions.
- Oversee and create a deployment team and perform project management to meet required goals and objectives.
- Schedule required meetings and training sessions to ensure objectives and timelines are met.
- Create, maintain, and streamline work orders and operational procedures to improve workflow efficiency while ensuring full alignment with AS9100 and all applicable customer, Nadcap and OEM requirements.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to identify process inefficiencies within work order system that drive continuous improvement initiatives aligned with AS9100 and customer requirements.
- Create and develop quality control testing matrix and requirements to meet periodic and lot testing.
- Create required sequence flow controls to ensure customer products are planned to all internal and external requirements.
- Develop and create training documents and SOPs for effective MRP usage.
- Develop and create certification and auditing guidelines to ensure MRP standardization.
- Other duties as assigned
- Facilitate change by motivating others to pursue innovative, alternative approaches to solving problems and seizing opportunities, while ensuring all actions align with Nadcap and AS9100 requirements
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
- Minimum 5 years of Quality, Engineering, or Program Management experience in aerospace industry
- Knowledge of Information Technologies including Office 365, workstation and server hardware, networking, and website deployment required.
- Intermediate to advanced skills in Powerpoint and Excel
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with business leaders at all levels and third party IT suppliers
- Strong demonstrated project management skills.
Basic Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Engineering, Quality, Information Technology required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Six Sigma Green Belt certification preferred
