In this esteemed professorial role, you will lead globally recognised research and innovative teaching in accounting. You will shape public debate, influence policy and mentor the next generation of scholars and practitioners, while providing strategic leadership within a highly respected Department and Faculty.
 

What you will deliver: 

  • Lead an ambitious research agenda in accounting, publishing in top-tier international journals and other scholarly outlets.

  • Secure competitive external research funding and foster collaborative projects with national and international partners.

  • Provide inspiring leadership in teaching across undergraduate and graduate programmes, including curriculum innovation and enhancement.

  • Supervise and mentor doctoral and honours students, building a strong, supportive research training culture.

  • Contribute actively to boards, committees and professional forums, strengthening the Department’s profile with regulators, government and industry.

  • Hold a PhD in accounting or a closely related discipline.

  • Demonstrate an outstanding record of impactful publications in leading international accounting journals.

  • Provide evidence of successful, innovative teaching at both undergraduate and graduate levels.
