Job Description
The Professional Services Consultant plays a key role in our Services organization, acting as a customer-facing representative of Nexthink. You will deliver advisory and technical services for Nexthink products, ensuring customer expectations are met or exceeded in terms of technical execution and business impact.
This role extends beyond implementation. You will engage regularly with customer stakeholders to define business challenges, design outcome-driven use cases, and guide solution adoption to improve digital employee experience and overall business operations. By combining consultative engagement with hands-on configuration, you will help customers embed Nexthink into their operational workflows and realize measurable value.
This position requires a dedicated and enthusiastic professional with strong technical, analytical, and communication skills, capable of establishing and maintaining trusted advisor status.
Consultative Engagement & Use Case Leadership
  • Lead recurring customer sessions to identify, prioritize, and design outcome-driven use cases aligned to business and operational objectives.
  • Drive consultative conversations to define business issues and remediation possibilities achievable with Nexthink products and services.
  • Translate business requirements into structured solution designs that consider process alignment, stakeholder engagement, and operational impact.
  • Guide customers in embedding Nexthink into service management and cross-functional operational workflows.
  • Empower customers to fully adopt Nexthink solutions while maintaining trusted advisor status.
  • Support customers in progressing toward defined milestones and measurable outcomes.

Technical Implementation & Solution Execution
  • Implement, configure, and operate Nexthink products ensuring alignment with best practices and approved solution designs.
  • Develop dashboards, investigations, alerts, campaigns, and automation workflows.
  • Support integrations with customer systems using scripting and API-based approaches where required.
  • Analyze endpoint and operational data to generate actionable insights and optimize use case effectiveness.
  • Troubleshoot technical challenges using structured problem-solving techniques.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of configurations, solution designs, and engagement activities.

Leadership, Collaboration & Professional Excellence
  • Lead technical engagements and collaborate effectively with colleagues, taking direction as needed.
  • Continuously enhance skills and resolve issues using structured problem-solving tools and techniques.
  • Effectively acquire, present, and clarify information using strong communication skills across various platforms.
  • Commit to customer satisfaction, act with integrity, and treat colleagues with respect, promptly addressing service delivery issues.
  • Ensure timely and accurate compliance with service processes, including schedule management, reports, expenses, and timesheets.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of consulting or advisory experience, preferably in a customer-facing services role in the technology industry, B2B, SaaS, or similar.
  • Strong ability to gather and translate business issues into structured technical solutions.
  • Ability to drive consultative conversations defining business challenges and remediation possibilities.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret and visualize data to generate actionable insights.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Windows clients and applications.
  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies in an unsupervised environment.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and time management skills.

Desired Skills
  • Working knowledge of Nexthink and its products.
  • ITIL v4 knowledge.
  • Experience in scripting and integration concepts (Python, JSON, PowerShell, REST API, LDAP, SSO, BASH).
  • Experience in data analytics and visualization tools (SQL, Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
  • MacOS familiarity.
  • Previous enterprise operations experience a plus (IT infrastructure, capacity planning, end-user hardware/software engineering).
  • A professional level of German language could be a big advantage.
