This is an entry-level Production Test Technician position that performs calibration set-up, mechanical assembly testing instruments and performing Final QC on completed assemblies. Candidate will follow manufacturing procedures per documentation. May also perform rework on assemblies as needed.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
· Perform electro-mechanical assembly functions on analyzers.
· Calibrate electronic devices per customer orders.
· Utilize hand tools and test devices.
· Follow standardized/documented procedures to ensure product meets high quality standards.
· Complete work orders on schedule and meet standard time for standard operations.
· Comply with established environmental, health and safety policies.
· Work on assignments that are routine in nature requiring limited judgment.
· Normally receives detailed instructions on work; works under close supervision.
· Accurately record labor time for work order operations into the MRP system.
· Time and attendance in accordance with company policies.
· Report nonconforming product and material following company policies (NCM creation) and established
work area procedures.
· Report nonconforming product and safety issues.
· Participate in the company’s Lean and Continuous Improvement programs including maintaining work
area to 6S standards.
· Be able to help in more than one area within the department and/or other departments.
· Be able to work overtime when needed.
· Evaluation of performance will be based on ability to perform above referenced functions.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
· High School Degree or Equivalent Typically requires between 0-2 years of related experience.
Experience:
· Experience working in a lean manufacturing environment a plus.
Skills:
· Have good manual dexterity computer skills and literacy.
· Strong attention to detail.
· Ability to be able to do multiple priorities and multiple tasks simultaneously.
· Strong verbal communication skills.
· Enjoy contributing to a diverse manufacturing group.
· Be a Team Player and able and embrace change.
· Strives to work with minimum supervision in a fast-paced environment.
· Meets standard time.
· Able to lift 20 pounds.
Pay range $38K - $50K plus 5% target bonus and benefits.

The actual salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, education, business needs, market demands and work location.
