JOB DESCRIPTION
SummaryMid-level Production Supervisor position representing the majority of plant‑level supervisory roles.

Plans production activities, establishing priorities and sequences for manufacturing.
Prepares operational schedules and coordinates manufacturing activities to meet production and quality specifications while exceeding customer expectations.
Reviews production and operating reports; resolves operational, manufacturing, and maintenance issues to minimize costs and prevent delays.
Inspects machinery and equipment to ensure proper performance and optimal utilization.
Compiles, stores, and retrieves production data.
Develops or updates standard operating procedures and observes workers to ensure compliance.
Maintains strong safety and housekeeping practices by communicating expectations and ensuring adherence through inspections.
Responsible for employee orientation and on‑the‑job training in safe and efficient equipment operation.
Provides coaching, counseling, and training to build a fully qualified, quality‑focused workforce capable of producing world‑class products.
Promotes and adheres to all Health, Safety & Environmental policies and procedures.
Must be able to work 3rd shift (10:30pm – 7:30am) with occasional weekend overtime.
