Summary
  • Mid-level Production Supervisor position representing the majority of plant‑level supervisory roles.

Main Responsibilities
  • Supervises production team members; directs daily activities and ensures compliance with company policies and applicable laws.

  • Adheres to the collective bargaining agreement (if applicable), plant rules, safety rules, attendance policy, and all other relevant procedures.

  • Addresses employee performance and behavioral issues appropriately.

  • Oversees production operations to ensure compliance with methods, quality standards, safety regulations, production targets, and equipment efficiency.

  • Reviews production orders to determine product specifications, quantities, and requirements to plan departmental operations.

  • Plans production activities, establishing priorities and sequences for manufacturing.

  • Prepares operational schedules and coordinates manufacturing activities to meet production and quality specifications while exceeding customer expectations.

  • Reviews production and operating reports; resolves operational, manufacturing, and maintenance issues to minimize costs and prevent delays.

  • Inspects machinery and equipment to ensure proper performance and optimal utilization.

  • Compiles, stores, and retrieves production data.

  • Develops or updates standard operating procedures and observes workers to ensure compliance.

  • Maintains strong safety and housekeeping practices by communicating expectations and ensuring adherence through inspections.

  • Responsible for employee orientation and on‑the‑job training in safe and efficient equipment operation.

  • Provides coaching, counseling, and training to build a fully qualified, quality‑focused workforce capable of producing world‑class products.

  • Promotes and adheres to all Health, Safety & Environmental policies and procedures.

  • Must be able to work 3rd shift (10:30pm – 7:30am) with occasional weekend overtime.
