Job Summary
The Production Supervisor will direct, support, and develop team members within a designated area to ensure production and/or material support plans are achieved, maintaining safety and quality standards. Supervisors are expected to work cross-functionally to optimize workflows, deploy labor resources, and facilitate cross training opportunities while meeting productivity, cost and other operational KPI targets, utilizing both our Lean Management System (PULSE) and our ZOLL leadership qualities.
Essential Functions
  • Establish and maintain an effective working relationship with all departments including other Production, Quality, Shipping, Training, and Engineering teams.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of department in terms of quality, productivity, capability, and capacity. Work in collaboration with Team Leads to achieve production plans. Actively solicit, educate, and drive implementation of safety opportunities identified by team.
  • Effectively communicate business objectives, expectations, and feedback to team members Proactively communicate upwards on team status, challenges, and support requirements. Cross- functional communication and collaboration within the Supervisor team is expected.
  • Drive team member development and improvement through coaching and mentoring activities. Set expectation by demonstrating ZOLL leadership qualities.
  • Lead continuous improvement through effective leadership of product teams, lead Tier meetings and root cause/corrective action activities, support PULSE initiatives and daily management.
  • Management responsibility for team members. Will frequently give direction to personnel and act in a project management role with accountability for getting results through others.

Required/Preferred Education and Experience
  • High School Diploma or GED required; Technical Associates degree or 4-year college degree preferred.
  • Three to five years minimum leadership experience in a manufacturing/production environment or equivalent. Supervisory experience preferred.
  • Experience applying Lean Manufacturing Concepts preferred.

The annual salary for this position is:

$80,000.00 to $90,500.00
