The Production Supervisor is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing all aspects of production operations for the Residential Gas Meter product line. This hands-on role leads a team of 15 production professionals, ensuring consistent adherence to safety, quality, and efficiency standards.
The supervisor is also accountable for driving continuous improvement initiatives, maintaining regulatory compliance, and fostering a high-performance, team-oriented culture.
Work Schedule:
2-2-3 rotating schedule, 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of 15 production employees.
- Motivate team members to meet daily and long-term production goals.
- Conduct performance evaluations and deliver constructive feedback.
- Address personnel matters and resolve conflicts in a professional manner.
- Demonstrate integrity, a strong work ethic, and alignment with company values.
- Develop, implement, and adjust production schedules to meet demand.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient workflow.
- Analyze production data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner.
- Ensure all products meet company and regulatory quality standards.
- Conduct inspections and audits while enforcing quality procedures.
- Address quality issues promptly and implement corrective actions.
- Provide regular updates to leadership on production performance.
- Prepare reports on output, quality, and operational metrics.
- Coordinate with other departments on product changes and new launches.
- Maintain clear and effective communication across all levels of the team.
- Understand team dynamics and balance individual and group needs.
- Resolve conflicts constructively while maintaining a positive work environment.
- Inspire and engage employees through recognition, coaching, and development.
- Adapt to shifting priorities and unexpected challenges.
- Make informed decisions aligned with organizational goals.

- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Strong understanding of inventory management principles and practices.
- Experience developing and implementing inventory management policies.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with inventory management systems and production software.
The estimated salary range for this position is $60,000 to $65,000, with starting pay based on factors such as skills, experience, and work location. Compensation typically does not begin at the top of the range.
