What will your job involve?
- Hire, train, and support staff while fostering a productive, professional, and customer-focused team environment
- Conduct quality checks on smart containers and oversee autoclave operations to ensure compliance with regulatory standards, ISO, AQIS, and safety procedures
- Identify and resolve inefficiencies in autoclave and plant processes through process mapping, time-motion studies, and risk assessments aligned with performance metrics
- Monitor autoclave and plant equipment, perform minor repairs, and ensure preventive maintenance and facility upkeep are consistently executed
- Oversee stock control, inventory, and ordering processes, providing analysis and feedback to leadership
- Lead assigned projects and assist in performance reviews to support strategic goals and staff development
- Maintain a clean, hazard-free work environment and conduct weekly health and safety training sessions
- Facilitate effective communication across departments and manage resource allocation including headcount, budget, and scheduling
What are we looking for?
- 3+ years of plant, warehouse, or relatable leadership experience
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal) with attention to record-keeping
- Ability to motivate and work effectively with others in a team environment
- Familiarity with OSHA and other safety guidelines
- Physically capable of lifting up to 55 pounds, pushing/pulling carts up to 300 pounds, and standing for extended periods
- Willingness to work weekends, holidays, or flex hours based on production needs
- Successful completion of medical exam (including drug screen), police clearance, and reference checks
- Mechanical background or aptitude
- Proven experience in improving operational processes and procedures
- Comfortable working in confined spaces and performing repetitive physical tasks
- Experience coaching and developing team members
- Ability to comprehend and manage complex operations
- Autoclave experience – a huge benefit for understanding and optimizing sterilization processes
