- Responsible for assuring assigned shift meets key performance indicator (KPI) goals in the areas of safety, quality, delivery, cost and culture.
- Reviews daily production schedule for the department to plan work and personnel assignments for the shift.
- Supervises and directs personnel on shift in performing operations according to sound operating principles and company policies and procedures. Includes safety training and company safety and accident prevention procedures.
- Coordinates workflow and develops teamwork to attain shift/department objectives.

- Conducts orientation and training of new hires, including safety policies and procedures.
- Ensures 6S standards are sustained.
- Manages and approves employee punch request, PTO, weekly timesheet for payroll processing.
- Available to work overtime as required.

Education/Experience:
- High School Diploma or G.E.D
- Supervisory and/or management experience in a manufacturing environment, with machining and assembly processes required
- Leadership: a demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others.
- Communication: excellent written and oral communications and interpersonal skills to facilitate work through multiple shifts / departments / buildings. Ability and willingness to provide feedback and have crucial conversations with effective results.
- Planning: an ability to think ahead, plan accordingly and prepare/deliver action plans to achieve results.
- Problem solving: Possess strong analytical skills and mechanical aptitude to help troubleshoot problems and implement improvement plans which deliver solutions effectively.
- Possess computer skills and proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Ability to maintain employee confidentiality.
- Ability to build constructive and effective relationships.
- Ability to take a proactive approach to people, production, and business needs
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment that requires fulfillment of daily commitments and shipments.
