Production Supervisor (Production Supervisor)

Location: Shenzhen
Key Responsibilities
1. Production Planning and Operations Management
Lead and oversee daily production operations, ensuring effective execution of production schedules in alignment with PMC plans. Coordinate manpower, equipment, and material resources to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly production targets while meeting customer delivery requirements. Monitor and resolve production issues promptly to ensure smooth and efficient manufacturing operations.
2. Lean Manufacturing and 5S Management
Drive the implementation of 5S, visual management, and standardized work practices across the production floor. Continuously promote lean manufacturing initiatives by optimizing processes, workflows, and production layouts to reduce waste, improve labor productivity, and maximize equipment utilization.
3. Quality Process Control
Ensure strict adherence to quality standards throughout the production process. Monitor critical manufacturing operations, collaborate with the Quality team to address defects, customer complaints, rework, and corrective actions, and drive root cause analysis and continuous improvement efforts to reduce defects and scrap rates.
4. Workforce and Team Management
Manage production personnel, including scheduling, attendance, training, coaching, and performance management. Establish disciplined and high-performing teams by fostering accountability, enhancing employee engagement, and supporting employee development. Address daily workforce issues and promote a positive working environment to improve team stability and retention.
5. Safety and Equipment Management
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, process safety requirements, and EHS standards. Conduct routine safety inspections, identify and eliminate workplace hazards, and maintain a safe working environment. Partner with the Maintenance team to support preventive maintenance, equipment inspections, and troubleshooting activities to ensure reliable equipment operation and maximize Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
6. Data Analysis and Continuous Improvement
Develop and maintain production performance metrics and reports, including output, yield, efficiency, scrap, equipment utilization, and attendance. Analyze operational data to identify trends, drive problem-solving initiatives, and implement sustainable improvements that enhance overall production performance.
7. Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with PMC, Engineering, Quality, Procurement, Warehousing, and EHS teams to effectively manage material shortages, process changes, new product introductions (NPI), pilot runs, rework activities, and urgent production requirements. Ensure seamless coordination to support on-time order fulfillment and operational excellence.
8. Culture Building and Team Engagement
Actively promote and exemplify the company’s values and culture. Foster a workplace culture centered on safety, integrity, collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. Organize employee engagement activities, team-building initiatives, recognition programs, and continuous improvement campaigns to strengthen team cohesion, employee satisfaction, and organizational commitment.
Qualifications
1.Bachelor’s degree preferred in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Automation, Electronics, or a related field.
2.Minimum of 5 years of manufacturing production management experience, including at least 3 years in a supervisory role. Experience in electronics manufacturing, precision materials, semiconductor consumables, new energy, or highly automated production environments is preferred.
3.Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations, Lean Manufacturing, 5S, quality management systems, and continuous improvement methodologies. Demonstrated ability to independently manage production lines, teams, productivity, quality, and operational performance.
4.Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and execution skills, with the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and respond quickly to operational challenges.
5.Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and production data analysis tools. Capable of leveraging data to drive operational improvements and business decisions.
6.Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and achieve common objectives.
7.High level of integrity, accountability, and results orientation, with a proactive approach to managing people and operations.
8.Strong commitment to company values and organizational culture. Demonstrated ability to lead by example, develop people, foster teamwork, and build a positive, inclusive, and high-performance work environment.
9.Experience in EHS management, process safety management (PSM), and automation-driven manufacturing environments is highly desirable.
