Position Summary: The Production Supervisor is responsible for all aspects of the shop production, parts, inventory, tool requirements, repairs, maintenance and safety. Also responsible for shop schedule and staffing to meet customer demands and efficiency and personnel development.

Essential Job Functions and Duties
- Supervise 8- 25 hourly employees providing daily direction in multiple locations if needed.
- Responsible for coordinating shop production paper flow to include employee timecards, various branch operational reports.
- Able to track manufacturer’s engineering changes and implementing those that are applicable.
- Implement and monitor employee safety methods and quality awareness.
- Responsible for special projects that will affect the shop’s methods and activities, or those that will require shop scheduling to accomplish.
- Responsible for all related administrative tasked involved in the handling of responsibilities described in this review, including the timely completion and organization of related paperwork and management information.
- Ensures quality of work by all personnel.
- Ability to work hands on in the production process.
- Perform problem solving activities daily.
- Participate in Lean, Kaizen and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

- Demonstrate strong organizational skills and an ability to deal with complex and conditional situations.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
Position Qualifications and Entrance Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required. College degree a plus.
- 5+ years of manufacturing shop supervisory experience.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office software.
- Solid verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills are required.
- Ability to maintain a valid driver’s license.
- Candidates must successfully complete criminal and motor vehicle background check and pre-employment drug screening.
Physical Demands/Work Environment:
- Able to function capably in an office environment using standard equipment (telephones, fax machines, computers, copiers, etc.).
- Able to function capably in a production environment using standard equipment.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Frequently lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to complete production-related physical activities (walking, standing, talking, hearing, pushing, reaching, seeing, stooping/crouching, smelling, depth perception, identifying colors) as needed.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to produce.
- Participate in required company safety programs, trainings and PPE guidelines.
