As a Production Leader, you will play a critical role in driving safety, quality, productivity, and employee engagement across production operations. This position leads front-line supervisors and production teams to achieve performance goals while fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.

The ideal candidate is a people-focused leader who can develop high-performing teams, solve complex operational challenges, and drive results through Lean manufacturing principles. You will partner closely with Quality, Engineering, EHS, Maintenance, and Operations teams to ensure production objectives are met while supporting TPI's commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop production supervisors and teams to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and operational performance goals while fostering a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement.
  • Champion a zero-incident safety culture by ensuring compliance with all safety policies, PPE requirements, EHS initiatives, and regulatory standards.
  • Drive operational excellence through effective utilization of personnel, materials, equipment, and production resources.
  • Monitor daily production performance, support Tier 1 and Tier 2 processes, identify barriers, and implement corrective actions to achieve business objectives.
  • Utilize production and quality metrics to improve First Pass Yield, reduce defects, and drive data-based decision making.
  • Coach and evaluate supervisor performance through goal setting, performance management, employee development, and succession planning.
  • Promote Lean Manufacturing principles and lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, productivity, and cost reduction.
  • Ensure accurate and timely execution of Oracle transactions, production reporting, engineering changes, and process updates.
  • Manage workforce planning activities including attendance, scheduling, payroll approval, time-off requests, and disciplinary actions to minimize operational disruption.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, required training programs, ISO standards, and TPI's Mission, Vision, Values, and IDEA principles.

Education, Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, Business, or a related field; equivalent manufacturing leadership experience may be considered. 
  • Previous leadership experience in manufacturing, production, or industrial environment, with demonstrated ability to lead, coach, influence, and develop high-performing teams while managing performance and conflict resolution. 
  • Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with experience utilizing operational metrics to identify trends, drive improvements, and support business objectives. 
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement methodologies, change management, and other operational excellence initiatives. 
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems (Oracle preferred) and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. 
  • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment and work flexible schedules, including weekends, overtime, and varying shifts as business needs require.
