We're looking for an experienced Production Supervisor to lead our manufacturing team and help drive operational excellence at our Avondale site.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in leading frontline teams, ensuring production targets are achieved, and creating a safe and engaged workplace culture. This is an opportunity to make a real impact by developing people, improving performance, and contributing to the ongoing success of a well-established manufacturing operation.

Your key responsibilities will be to:
- Lead, coach and develop production team members to create a safe, engaged and high-performing workplace culture.
- Coordinate daily production activities to ensure operational, quality, service and efficiency targets are achieved.
- Drive strong health, safety and environmental practices, promoting a proactive and positive safety culture.
- Monitor production performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement initiatives that enhance productivity and reliability.
- Act as the key link between frontline teams and site leadership, ensuring clear communication and alignment across the operation.
- Support workforce planning, labour utilisation, inventory control and resource allocation to meet business requirements.
- Provide leadership support to the Operations Manager, maintaining operational continuity and decision-making when required.
Your skills and experience
To be successful in this role, you’ll have:
- Leadership experience within manufacturing, production, FMCG or operational environment.
- Proven ability to coach, develop and motivate teams to achieve strong performance outcomes.
- Experience using SAP or a similar ERP system.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Sound understanding of health and safety, quality systems and manufacturing best practices.
- Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills in a fast-paced operational environment.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
- Mechanical aptitude and a hands-on approach to supporting operational requirements.
- A passion for continuous improvement and driving positive change.

- Working Hours: Monday - Friday 6:00am to 2:30pm - 40 hours per week
- No Overtime and Oncall requirements
