Production Supervisor 

Location: 8152 Kensington Ct Brighton, MI 48116

While no two days will look alike, here is a snapshot of some of the things you'll be doing:   

  • Directs cost-effective operation of warehouse shipping.

  • Contributes to the development of Division procedures to improve service and profitability and maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.

  • Selects and trains employees and Team Leaders and schedules workforce appropriately. 

  • Collaborates with Sales/Transportation leadership to maintain operating proficiency and accuracy.

  • Maintains budget for shipping wages and other shipping-related costs.

  • Develops and maintains procedures and controls to minimize warehouse damages and ensure accountability.

  • Conduct departmental and pre-shift meetings to communicate information.  Attends and/or leads training as required, to include safety program training.

  • Prepare weekly performance scores for individual employees, monitor employees’ incentive pay (WCS) and time and attendance system to make necessary adjustments as appropriate.

  • Mentors and empowers staff and develops an assistant capable of performing the functions of department supervisor for interim periods.

  • Interviews, hires, trains, and retains staff.  Conducts performance monitoring of staff, initiating follow-through with disciplinary action and termination in consultation with Human Resources when appropriate for the department.  

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Schedule:

  • Four day work week that rotates every 4 months - Rotates between Mon/Tues/Thurs/Friday, Tuesday-Friday, Sunday -Wednesday. You would always have Saturdays off.

  • Shift time: 6PM and going until finish (Shifts may vary based on case volume)

Does this look like you?

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent 

  • 2 years of warehouse experience required 

  • One year of previous leadership experience required (Receiving leadership preferred) 

  • Knowledge of Fusion

  • Industrial Vehicle (PIV) certification is preferred

  • Must have a basic understanding of DOT, OSHA, EEOC, and other related regulatory agencies and laws
