Production Supervisor

Responsible for supervising and controlling daily production operations to ensure production targets are achieved according to quality, food safety, safety, cost, productivity and delivery requirements. Lead and develop production employees, control production processes, solve operational problems, and continuously improve production efficiency.

A. Production Operations

• Plan, assign and control daily production activities according to the production plan.
• Monitor production output, yield, productivity and production efficiency.
• Ensure production processes are operated according to SOP, Work Instruction and established standards.
• Control manpower, raw materials, packaging materials and equipment utilization.
• Monitor production losses, downtime, waste and abnormal conditions.
• Ensure effective shift handover and continuity of production operations.
• Take immediate action to resolve production problems and minimize production interruptions.

B. Quality & Food Safety

• Ensure products meet quality specifications and customer requirements.
• Ensure compliance with GHP, HACCP, FSSC 22000 and relevant food safety requirements.
• Control production processes to prevent contamination, product defects and food safety risks.
• Coordinate with QA/QC to investigate quality problems and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure production records and quality-related documents are complete and accurate.

C. Safety & Environment

• Ensure employees comply with occupational health, safety and environmental requirements.
• Conduct safety checks and identify unsafe acts and unsafe conditions.
• Promote safety awareness and a strong safety culture within the production team.
• Support incident investigation and implementation of corrective/preventive actions.
• Ensure compliance with 5S and housekeeping standards in the production area.

D. People Management

• Supervise, coach and develop Production Operators and Team Leaders.
• Assign work and manpower according to production requirements and employee competency.
• Monitor employee attendance, discipline and work performance.
• Conduct on-the-job training and support the Skill Matrix development of production employees.
• Provide feedback and performance evaluations to team members.
• Promote teamwork, employee engagement and continuous improvement.

E. Continuous Improvement

• Identify opportunities to improve productivity, yield, quality and production efficiency.
• Implement improvement activities such as Kaizen, 5S, Lean Manufacturing and waste reduction.
• Analyze production problems using data and root cause analysis.
• Participate in improvement projects to reduce production costs and losses.
• Monitor the effectiveness of improvement actions.

F. Coordination & Reporting

• Coordinate with Production Planning, QA/QC, Engineering/Maintenance, Warehouse, HR and other related departments.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly production reports.
• Report production performance, problems, losses and improvement actions to the Production Manager.
• Ensure accurate production data and records are maintained.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Production Manager.
