The Production Supervisor oversees daily production operations to ensure that high‑quality products are manufactured safely, efficiently, and in alignment with company standards. This role leads and develops team members, maintains compliance with regulatory requirements, and supports continuous improvement across the production environment.
- Adheres to and enforces all safety rules, regulations, and best practices.
- Ensures team compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), employee and food safety regulations, and company values.
- Maintains appropriate staffing levels, ensures availability of raw materials, and verifies equipment readiness to meet production goals.
- Processes workplace inquiries and incidents promptly in accordance with Incident Reporting and Investigation Guidelines.
- Ensures compliance with all food safety, security, and quality requirements.
- Fulfills safety leadership responsibilities, including conducting safety orientations and ongoing safety training, enforcing safe work practices, correcting unsafe behaviors, identifying and eliminating unsafe or unhealthful workplace conditions, and investigating workplace accidents.
- Ensures all production areas remain clean, well‑maintained, and compliant with USDA sanitation requirements.
- Maintains positive working relationships with Federal, State, and Local regulatory agencies.
- Assists with maintaining third‑party certifications, including BRC or other relevant standards.
- Promotes a positive, collaborative, and high‑morale work environment.
- Enforces the Guidelines of Conduct, Attendance Policy, and company values in a firm, fair, and consistent manner.
- Assigns and schedules team members effectively to meet production demands.
- Supports the selection, onboarding, and training of new team members.
- Participates in internal and external training programs as directed by the Plant Manager.
