Job Summary
The Production Supervisor is responsible for leading all aspects of the flow manufacturing process to ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality production. This role leads production teams, coordinates with cross-functional departments, manages resources, and drives continuous improvement initiatives to meet production goals, cost targets, and customer requirements.


Key Responsibilities
•    Plan, organize, and oversee daily production activities to meet production schedules and quality standards.
•    Supervise, mentor, and develop production staff to ensure high performance and adherence to company processes and policies.
•    Provide feedback and training, and performance evaluations to assigned team members.
•    Ensure compliance with safety policies, environmental, and regulatory requirements in the production area.
•    Monitor and report on production metrics, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to optimize efficiency.
•    Develop and maintain visual management boards associated with production systems to ensure real-time accuracy, foster team communication, and drive root cause analysis. 
•    Collaborate with Maintenance, Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to ensure smooth operations.
•    Manage production resources, including manpower, equipment, and materials, to meet operational targets.
•    Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
•    Champion lean principles such as 5S, standardized work, visual management, Kaizen, and problem-solving methodologies.
•    Monitor product quality and coordinate with Quality Assurance to address non-conformances.
•    Prepare production reports, analyze performance data, and present recommendations to senior management.
•    Participate in production planning, forecasting, and budgeting activities.

Qualifications
•    Associate degree in related field preferred or equivalent experience required.
•    High school diploma or equivalent required.
•    Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing production, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory or role. Experience in industrial equipment manufacturing is strongly preferred. 
•    Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, production planning, and quality standards.
•    Toyota Production System (TPS) Certification, Certified Kaizen Professional (CKP), Six Sigma certification, or proven experience with a continuous production system.

Physical Requirements
•    80% of work performed on production floor
•    Ability to navigate production areas safely, following all safety protocols and wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE).
•    Comfortable working in environments with varying noise levels, temperature, and industrial equipment.
•    May involve walking, standing, or climbing stairs for extended periods while observing or supporting operations.
