SUMMARY
Westlake Royal Windows, a division of Westlake Corporation (NYSE: WLK), manufactures high-quality window solutions serving residential and commercial markets across North America. Our team is built on safety, quality, operational excellence, and continuous growth.
The Production Supervisor directs daily window production operations to ensure safety, quality, efficiency, and on-time completion. This role leads assigned production employees, coordinates labor and workflow, monitors performance, maintains required records, and promotes employee engagement through coaching, communication, and consistent application of company policies.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Comply with and enforce Westlake safety policies, procedures, housekeeping standards, and PPE requirements.
- Utilize 5S (housekeeping) as a tool to improve safety and production performance through employee behavior change, while creating a friendly / attractive work environment.
- Lead daily production activities, including labor scheduling, workflow coordination, production planning, and meeting customer delivery commitments.
- Interview, hire, train, coach, and mentor production employees; identify training needs and support cross-training and job rotation.
- Maintain time, attendance, production, throughput, safety, counseling, and other required records accurately and timely.
- Review production reports, verify work accuracy, and conduct quality checks to ensure complete window units meet standards.
- Partner with maintenance manager to maintain / improve equipment reliability to achieve high performance levels.
- Partner with the Plant Manager and other leaders to improve production methods, equipment performance, safety, quality, and productivity.
- Inspect materials, equipment, and processes for defects or issues; initiate corrective action as needed.
- Communicate daily expectations, job status, and key performance updates to employees, supervisors, and management.
- Address employee attendance, conduct, performance, complaints, and grievances within the scope of the role and company policy.
- Coordinate staffing and employee rotation with supervisors or group leaders to meet production needs.
- Promote teamwork, engagement, and safe work habits through regular coaching and effective employee relations.
- Maintain regular attendance, punctuality, scheduling flexibility, and availability for overtime or weekends as business needs require.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
The employee should have the following:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Eight or more years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment; building products manufacturing experience preferred.
- Demonstrated experience leading people and communicating effectively.
ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT
The employee should be able to:
- Sit, stand, walk, and move throughout the facility for extended periods, including up to 12-hour shifts.
- Use stairs or ladders and bend, twist, reach, and perform repetitive movements as needed.
- Handle objects, tools, and controls and lift or move up to 50 pounds.
- Wear required personal protective equipment, including hearing, vision, and hardhat protection.
- Work around dust, chemicals, noise, temperature changes, and other manufacturing environmental conditions.
