Ingredion is looking for a Production Supervisor to lead safe, efficient, and reliable 24/7 Starch and Sweetener operations at our Sikhiu Plant. Your leadership will help deliver production targets while strengthening quality, food safety, people capability, and continuous improvement.
As a Production Supervisor, you will manage shifts, workforce, budget, quality control, and raw-material handling while ensuring customer requirements and environmental, health, and safety standards are met.
What you will do:Production & Process Control – Manage 24/7 Starch and Sweetener operations, troubleshoot issues, prioritize actions, and ensure smooth production performance.
IPS & Performance Management – Drive production KPIs through tier meetings, follow-up actions, RCA, FCA, and support for Global IPS certification.
Quality, Food Safety & EHS – Ensure compliance with procedures, work instructions, SOPs, life-saving rules, GMP, HACCP, FSSC 22000, GHPs, and other applicable standards.
Risk & Data Analysis – Identify and report safety, environmental, and food-safety risks, coordinate root-cause analysis, and establish corrective and preventive actions.
Cross-functional Collaboration – Partner with QA, Maintenance, EHS, Supply Chain, GTM, IPS, and other teams to achieve strong operational performance.
People Development – Lead, coach, motivate, and develop production employees through training, performance reviews, and appropriate staffing support.
Workplace Standards – Maintain strong housekeeping and hygiene standards and ensure the plant is ready for customer or audit visits.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in FMCG manufacturing or a related industry; experience in modified starch, sweeteners, chemicals, or food manufacturing is preferred.
Strong understanding of EHS compliance, GMP, HACCP, and quality-management systems.
Demonstrated leadership in operations, with flexibility to support 24/7 production and urgent issues on-call.
Good spoken and written English, with computer literacy and proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office.
A hands-on production leader with strong ownership, sound judgment, and a safety-first mindset.
A practical problem solver with strong process understanding, analytical thinking, and continuous-improvement orientation.
