This position reports to:
Production Manager__
Your role and responsibilities (Mandatory)
In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead a team within a Production unit or line to execute production processes, transforming parts and raw materials into ABB products in a timely and cost-effective manner. Each day, you will ensure continuous and efficient operation in accordance with volumes, schedules, procedures, drawings, and quality and safety standards and policies. You will also showcase your expertise by organizing and allocating resources to meet line production targets effectively and efficiently.

This role is contributing to the Electrification Business in Apodaca, Nuevo Leon.
You will be mainly accountable for:
Develops programs, projects, goals, and metrics to lead the organization to the highest level of operational performance while optimizing working capital throughout Operations.
Oversees the creation of manufacturing subcontracts and manages the subcontractor jointly with other involved disciplines, including Supply Chain Management (e.g., subcontract employees are provided guidance on health and safety requirements and work practices, and issued permits to work).
Identifying deficiencies in production area, proposing improvement activities, and overseeing implementation of actions to improve production performance.
Managing the resolution of critical product or equipment issues together with relevant internal teams.
Collaborates with Operational Excellence teams to integrate lean manufacturing principles into production processes.
Qualifications for the role (Mandatory)
Bachelor's degree in industrial, mechanical, electrical or similar engineering.
4+ years of experience in similar positions.
Available for shift (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM or 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM) - Available for overtime.
Experience in SCRAP KPI'S, defects, order expiration & production rate.
Experience to lead operation crews +60 people.
Knowledge in Microsoft office, SAP, Power BI & ETO.
Lean manufacturing tools.
Basic/Intermediate English level.

- Familiarity with lean manufacturing tools
- Ability to develop operational programs, goals and performance metrics
