We are now looking for an engaged and driven Production Supervisor to join Machining D&M in Huskvarna. In this position, you will combine close and supportive leadership with a strong focus on safety, quality, delivery and continuous improvement. You will be an important member of the D&M management team, with the opportunity to influence both daily operations and the and the strategy of the business.

About the role

As Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for the day-to-day leadership and operations within Machining D&M. Through visible, supportive and coaching leadership, you will develop the organization while keeping people, safety and performance at the center.

You will have direct responsibility for a team of process operators and technicians. You will also work closely with colleagues within quality, engineering, maintenance and logistics to ensure that the organization achieves its targets.

An important part of the role is to lead continuous improvement activities in line with HOS, the Husqvarna Operating System, and to ensure that the department meets our high standards for quality, delivery performance and operational efficiency.

Your main responsibilities will include

• Leading the daily operations and performance of Machining D&M
• Managing, coaching and developing a team of process operators and technicians
• Ensuring achievement of targets within safety, quality, delivery and cost
• Driving continuous improvement and operational excellence in line with HOS
• Developing people, capabilities and a culture of collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement

About you

You are a confident, clear and engaging leader with a genuine interest in both people and technology. You create involvement, build strong teams and drive development through a coaching and supportive leadership style.

You enjoy working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where change and continuous improvement are natural parts of everyday work. You are comfortable setting expectations and following up on results, while remaining present and accessible to your team.

To succeed in the role, we also believe that you are collaborative, structured and able to turn operational challenges into practical actions and improvements.

Your skills and background

• Experience of leading employees within a manufacturing environment, for example as a team leader
• Experience of driving continuous improvement and change initiatives
• A good understanding of manufacturing processes and operational development
• The ability to analyze results and translate them into concrete actions
• Good communication skills in both Swedish and English, verbally and in writing

Experience in one or more of the following areas would be considered an advantage:

• HOS, Lean or a comparable production system
• CNC machining or other machining operations
• Work environment management and rehabilitation processes
• Post-secondary education within engineering, production, manufacturing or leadership

Location

This position is based in Huskvarna, Sweden.

As a Production Supervisor, you will be a hands-on leader in our production environment, working closely with your team and the wider organization every day. Your physical presence on site is essential to ensure smooth operations, enable fast decision-making, foster collaboration and provide visible, supportive leadership.

We believe that being close to the operation and the people who make it happen creates the best conditions for learning, continuous improvement and great results. This role is based full time on site.
