Reports to: Manager, Production

Department: Operations

Work Model: Full-time, On-site – No Travel Required

Schedule: Monday – Friday 8am-5pm

Job Summary

The Production Supervisor is responsible for managing day-to-day operations of the Conformal Coat team, ensuring schedules are met, resources are optimized, and quality standards are upheld. This role leads coaches and develops the team to drive productivity, continuous improvement, and alignment with company goals. The Production Supervisor is responsible for removing roadblocks and helping with problem-solving activities.

Essential Functions

Leadership & Team Management

  • Supervise, guide, and support production staff through training, coaching, and performance evaluations.

  • Set clear team goals aligned with company strategy and monitor progress.

  • Motivate employees and foster a positive, high-performance work environment.

Production Planning & Coordination

  • Collaborate closely with Scheduling, Materials, Engineering, and Sales departments to meet production deadlines.

  • Monitor workloads, deadlines, and multiple priorities to ensure efficient workflow.

  • Coordinate with production leadership to allocate resources effectively.

Continuous Improvement & Compliance

  • Observe workflow and employee productivity; provide constructive feedback and implement process improvements.

  • Recommend and implement measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and product quality.

  • Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) guidelines.

  • Maintain thorough knowledge of Crystal Group’s production tools, automation machines, test equipment, and software.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Knowledge:

  • In manufacturing and electronics

  • Preferred knowledge of reading wiring diagrams

Skills:

  • Must possess strong leadership, management, interpersonal, and communication skills

  • Proficiency with production-related software and basic computer skills

  • Data analysis and interpretation

  • Conflict Resolution

Abilities:

  • Ability to inspect products to ensure quality standards

  • Ability to work well both independently and in a team environment

  • Ability and willingness to change priorities as needed.

  • Ability to lead and motivate a team

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines

Required Qualifications

  • Must be a US Person (US Citizen, person granted US Permanent Resident Card or any individual who is granted status as a "protected person”)

  • Education requirement: GED/High School Diploma

  • Three or more years of production experience, with demonstrated leadership or supervisory activities.

Working Conditions

Work is primarily performed in a manufacturing environment with consistent exposure to manufacturing floor and testing environments. May require lifting up to 40 lbs, and standing for extended periods during product testing.
