Job Details:
This is a c shift position. Regular hours are 21:00-05:30 Monday-Saturday. Hours and days can vary depending on departmental need
SUMMARY:
Responsibilities include learning all Rendering duties and assisting in the training of new team members to the department. The role involves monitoring department equipment, documenting information on a daily report, preparing reports for plasma products, and maintaining a daily inventory of rendered products. The incumbent will be required to submit written production reports and inventory reports, as well as communicate on the radio with Rendering management staff and other departments, including but not limited to maintenance and production.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Experience: Rendering experience is helpful but not required.
- Computer Skills: Basic computer skills are helpful; training will be provided for the selected applicant.
- Communication Skills: Effective communication skills are necessary for training team members and throughout daily operations.
- Special Skills: Math and maintenance skills are a plus; must be able to work in an extremely hot environment.
- Supervisory: Will assist the general foreman in the absence of the supervisor.
