  • Coordinate with network and security teams to design secure traffic flows and application delivery architectures, including load balancing, reverse proxies, and network segmentation. Drive observability and resilience by implementing health, availability, and performance monitoring, and refining alerting to reduce noise and accelerate incident response.

  • Utilize network monitoring and analytics platforms (e.g., SolarWinds, Splunk, Forward Networks) to proactively monitor network health and prevent issues.
  • Apply proactive analytics and risk assessment to planned changes to minimize operational impact.
  • Research, evaluate, and recommend network solutions aligned with corporate standards and evolving business requirements.
  • Provide technical leadership and subject matter expertise to customers, partners, and stakeholders in support of network and branch delivery objectives.

  • Experience implementing and managing Network Access Control (Cisco ISE) to ensure accurate device profiling, authentication, and policy-based access enforcement.
  • Strong foundation in ITIL processes, application management, formal change management, network governance controls, and risk analysis.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead design discussions and manage technical stakeholders with an ownership mindset.
  • Experience with observability and logging, including SIEM/log analytics, performance monitoring, configuration baselines, and drift detection.
  • Working knowledge of network automation concepts, including scripting (e.g., Python) and configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible) to standardize and enforce controls.
  • Advanced proficiency configuring and troubleshooting Cisco Catalyst routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Strong background in wireless network design and implementation, including Aruba or similar WLC and access point solutions.
  • Experience working with service providers and carriers, including troubleshooting and escalation to resolve network connectivity and performance issues.
