Job Purpose:

Step into a high-impact role where you will lead production excellence in a dynamic manufacturing environment. As a Senior Engineer – Production, you will drive efficiency, champion safety, and shape continuous improvement initiatives that directly influence product quality, delivery performance, and business success. If you enjoy solving complex shop-floor challenges and turning data into action, this role offers strong ownership and visibility.


Requirements
  • Plan & Drive Production: Create and execute efficient production schedules aligned with customer delivery timelines and available manpower.
  • Improve Processes: Continuously optimize production processes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.
  • Solve Shop-Floor Challenges: Act as a hands-on troubleshooter to quickly resolve production issues and minimize downtime.
  • Lead Safety Initiatives: Build and enforce a strong safety culture, ensuring a zero-incident work environment.
  • Boost Productivity: Improve Direct Labor Hours (DLH) by reducing non-productive time and maximizing manpower utilization.
  • Use Data to Improve Performance: Conduct time studies and track planned vs. actual performance to drive better project and machine utilization.
  • Ensure Quality & Cost Control: Deliver products that meet quality standards while managing materials, labour, and wastage within budget.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement: Identify root causes using tools like 5-Why analysis and implement sustainable solutions.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with Engineering, Quality, Projects, Purchase, and Stores to ensure smooth operations.
  • Lead & Develop Teams: Supervise, motivate, and guide production teams to meet targets and improve performance.
  • Maximize Machine Efficiency: Reduce downtime and improve utilization through preventive maintenance and better planning.
  • Ensure Compliance & Documentation: Maintain proper QMS, safety documentation, and adherence to company policies.
  • Promote Sustainability: Minimize material waste and ensure proper handling of scrap and factory resources.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Education: B.E. in Mechanical Engineering
  • Experience: 6–8 years in production/process execution within machinery manufacturing or fabrication
  • Safety Expertise: Diploma/Certification in Industrial Safety with hands-on experience
  • Technical Strengths:
    • Production planning & process optimization
    • Time study and productivity improvement techniques
    • ERP systems (SAGE preferred), MS Office, MS Project
    • Knowledge of 5S and continuous improvement practices
  • Work Style: Data-driven, detail-oriented, and deadline-focused
  • Leadership Skills: Strong analytical ability, communication, and stakeholder and people management

Skills Required
