- Develop weekly schedule of plant production. Schedule to minimize cost of on-hand inventory, line changeover and overtime while ensuring on time customer delivery.
- Improve scheduling processes through:
- Root cause analysis of major variance initial schedule
- Effective communication of issues and changes
- Drive implementation of countermeasures and improvement activities
- Communicate supply problems with materials team and department managers. Provides options to resolve supply problems.
- Evaluate, analyze and communicate the impact of changes in customer demand, demand analysis.
- Check with production department for long term balance production plan , headcount analysis.
- Analyze and communicate trends in customer demand compared to plant capacity.
- Mange FG and WI inventory on reasonable level.
- Achieve on time delivery and have an optimal WIP level
- Good visibility of production status and material status: Predict and highlight the production bottleneck or material shortage risk in the near future. Co-work closely with the related function teams, manufacturing, and engineering, supply chain to remove obstacles and prevent tragedies.
