Core Responsibilities
The overall purpose of this role is to drive production planning and the local consolidation processes to underpin service level targets, improve finished-goods inventory health, and enable efficient manufacturing.
More specifically, in this role you will:
- Lead and motivate a team of planning professionals by providing coaching; fostering inclusivity and innovative thinking; and driving high-performance through clear expectations, empowerment, and constructive feedback.
- Drive strong execution and continuous improvement in the production planning area, covering finished goods and pre-pack responsibilities.
- Lead the local consolidation process to drive the factory’s current and future success. Create a vision that future proofs this framework – finding internal inspiration, leveraging best-in-class practices, and championing effective change management.
- Support efficient operations by developing robust practices for production sequencing, batch sizes, and planning processes.
- Optimize production mix to support customer demand, balancing line constraints, available resources, and commercial priorities.
- Establish collaborative relationships with local and global partners. Create ways of working built on trust, openness, and with a One LEGO® Team approach.
- Ensure production planning aligns with key strategic business objectives, underpinning both the company's short- and long-term goals.

The production planning department’s mission is to deliver best-in-industry in-stock levels through responsiveness and supporting healthy inventory management, while effectively balancing factory efficiency.
The Production Planning and Control Director is the Kladno factory lead for finished goods and pre-pack production planning. This position requires strong leadership; strategic and tactical thinking; and collaboration and analytical skills. Focus on continuous improvement is expected to support the growing business and elevate the team’s capabilities so it can continue to play a key role in the company’s success.
Do you have what it takes?
- Deep operational expertise with significant experience in production and/or supply planning within complex, matrixed environments.
- Proven leadership capability with a consistent record of developing high-performing, diverse, and inclusive teams.
- Clear, effective communicator (English required; Czech a plus) with strong interpersonal and influencing skills.
- Analytical and thorough, with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Abillity to translate data into actionable insights.
- Proven change management capability; adaptable, curious, and comfortable navigating ambiguity.
What would be an advantage:
- Experience working on large transformational projects.
- Experience working with SAP, Kinaxis.
- Experience working in CPG.
