About the role:
The Production Planner is responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating manufacturing activities using Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems. The person in this role will create production schedules based on customer demand, forecasts, and the Operations Department's capacities. In addition, I will analyze inventory and coordinate with Procurement, Material Control, and Production to produce effective schedules, provide Production Orders, and any other reports/data needed. Lastly, this position will also be responsible for tracking the production process and reporting data to partner departments, as well as the administrative process, including Material Review Board support.
What you will do:
- Analyze MRP and Create Production Orders to support the Sales and Operations Plan
- Track Production Process and Report to Organization
- Analyze Inventory Levels to support Production Plan
- Maintain Production Orders to support schedule changes and communicate with Production Supervisors
- Administrative support, including Material Review Board activities and Forklift Model Plate programming, printing, and dispersing to Production teams

What you need to have:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 2+ years’ experience in production planning support
- MS Office skills
- Material Requirements Planning in an ERP system
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Working effectively in cross-department functions
What would be nice to have:
- Advanced MS Office Skills, including PowerPoint, Excel
- Previous experience in industrial or automotive manufacturing

The salary for this position ranges from $68,000 to $82,000 annually. The specific salary for a successful candidate will depend upon, among other legitimate factors, education, training, and/or experience.
