As a Production Planner based in Morgan Hill, CA you will plan, schedule, coordinate and/or monitor final approval of products through the complete production cycle. You will work from engineering plans and production specifications to establish production schedules, labor loading, and capacity requirements. You will coordinate production plans to ensure materials are provided according to schedules. You will also support customer service in scheduling replacement materials and support the supply of materials for repairs and the life of the product in the field. You will work with manufacturing and customer service to streamline processes, reduce cost, and improve responsiveness to the customer. Additional responsibilities and or tasks may be assigned as required.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Working knowledge of MS Office and strong proficiency in Excel.
- Understanding of manufacturing principals and concepts – MRP, Cycle Time, Pull Manufacturing, Continual Process Improvement, 5S, Kanban and Agile/Lean Manufacturing. Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt is a plus.
- Advanced knowledge of Corporate Information Systems related to MRP, bills of material, routings, inventory, and capacity. SAP experience is a plus.
- This position will be reporting to the Production Planning Manager based in Morgan Hill, CA
Requirements:
- BS degree in Industrial or Business Engineering or equivalent experience in planning, coordinating, and scheduling production operations requirements.

The annual base salary range for this position is $70,000 - $95,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
