As a Production Planner you will be responsible for planning and coordinating production activities to ensure jobs are properly prepared, scheduled, and executed. The Planner will be the primary resource for production planning and related LN activities at the site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare job folders and production orders.
  • Create and maintain BOMs and routings in LN.
  • Develop and maintain production schedules based on customer requirements and shop capacity.
  • Manage material requirements, shortages, and inventory transactions.
  • Maintain accurate production and planning data in LN.
  • Monitor backlog and job progress, identifying and escalating delivery risks.
  • Coordinate closely with Operations, Procurement, Engineering, Quality, and Sales.
  • Support continuous improvement of planning processes and ERP utilization.

What you’ll need:

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Experience in production planning, scheduling, manufacturing, supply chain, or a related role.
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems; Infor LN experience is preferred.
  • Knowledge of BOMs, routings, production orders, and material requirements.
  • Strong planning, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively across Operations, Procurement, Engineering, Quality, and Sales.
