Position Overview
As the Production Planner; you will be responsible for cross-functional communication (internal teams) of production schedules to ensure on-time delivery. This role is responsible for detailed tracking of critical parts throughout the manufacturing process. Drives daily communication between quality, finishing and manufacturing teams. Works with the customer facing role(s) to provide updates and delivery capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
- Schedule work flow through manufacturing and finishing processes
- Continuous improvement to ship across the span of the entire month rather than primarily end of month
- Participate in the coordination of the company's production plans and strategies with Production, Engineering, Materials, and Quality departments.
- Communicate monthly projected revenue with Management & Team
- Provide 3 month forecast
- Work with Purchasing/Production to inform of priorities
- Communicates all plans and changes to appropriate members of the production team.
- Participates in Production Meetings- driving daily needs and communicating priority items to each work group
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts and take an active role in follow through of Production Support improvement activities.
- Communicate with Purchasing to ensure timely issue of raw materials
- Assist with coordination, logistics and expediting of outside sourcing efforts.
- Communicates daily to ensure timely delivery of anticipated materials.
- Prioritizes and expedites part components and assemblies to support daily production schedules as well as raise awareness regarding inventory to minimize part shortages and inventory value.
- Special projects and tasks will be assigned as needed with other departments to meet short- and long-term business goals.
What We’re Looking For
- Associate's degree or equivalent experience, along with 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience working in an ISO 13485 environment, or a willingness to learn and adapt to regulated quality systems.
- Lean Six Sigma training, certification, or experience (preferred).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships and work effectively across teams.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive, solution-oriented approach to problem solving and continuous improvement.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with ERP systems, order processing software, and other business applications commonly used in manufacturing environments.
- Confidence presenting information, sharing ideas, and collaborating with internal teams and external partners.
- A growth mindset, creativity, and a willingness to take initiative while driving results.
